about me

I’m Ziyi Xu, or Zack Xu—an anime, comics, games, and novels enthusiast who sometimes gets a little lost in his own world.

I often wonder: what changed me? What made me willing to put so much of myself into interests that might seem ordinary or easy to overlook? How did a love for these things take me from being afraid to approach people to leading a club of my own?

Those questions are a big part of why cognitive science and psychology fascinate me. I want to understand how the things we love can shape who we become.
